Like most cat families, we love few things as much as we do actively spoiling our beloved cats. Our home is a haven for them.. plenty of warm, comfortable places to sleep, quiet places to eat and drink, and as many toys as any spoiled only child would have (trust me, as one… I’d know.. I was one!)

Beautiful! I absolutely love this gorgeous Washable Donut-Shaped Cat Bed (Amazon link). It’s available in a variety of gorgeous colors, to blend in purrfectly with the room your cat is gracing at the time:

  • beige
  • brown

  • light pink
  • rainbow
  • coffee
  • dark gray

Each color is gorgeous and I am having a devil of a time making my mind up. Just when I think I want the beige (pictured), I take another look at the pink.. then when that’s all but a “done deal,” I go back to the beige or give the colorful rainbow (the sherbet colors are so peaceful and lovely). I think I’m leaning to the rainbow colored bed at the moment, but I can’t make any promises!

Like many cat families, we have inside cats as well as outside cats. The prime “indoor” living arrangement is a “first come, first inside” thing in our family. With winter just around the corner, this great-looking self-warming cat “cave” bed (Amazon link) is just the thing my cats need. They’re such cold-natured little cuties, they would probably love it year round – they never seem to agree with the temperature we set the air conditioning on!

I love the cave shape, it’s probably one of the reasons a cat is able to pretty much heat the bed themselves. It seems to trap the body heat, making nap time all the more enjoyable.

I also love how darn cute it is – it looks like a giant yawning mouse, posed to even the score with all cats! We’ll keep that bit of descriptive information far, far away from our cats.

Set of 3 Colorful Ceramic Shallow Cat Dishes

This set of ceramic cat dishes (Amazon link) is so beautiful I wish they were available for the rest of the cat’s family… as in those of us who are (normally) human!

Things I love about these beauties…

  • They’re Shallow. A cat is extremely uncomfortable eating out of a dish that brushes against their whiskers. They lack the longer snout of say a dog or possum to allow them to easily eat out of anything that isn’t shallow.
  • They Feature No Skid Bottoms. If your cats are like our little pigs, they often lick the plate until you’re certain the plate will disintegrate! Our cats lick and chase their dishes all over the kitchen floor. With the no skid bottoms these have, at least the plates will stay in place while the little piggies get every last bite!
  • They’re Dishwasher Safe. As the dish washer of the family… my cats refuse this chore… this matters and it matters a lot. It isn’t so much that I wouldn’t want to wash my cats dishes, but I feel like they get cleaner in a hot dishwasher with heated drying.

Gorgeous Outdoor Cat Condo (Cats Would LOVE This House!)

We have indoor cats and outdoor cats and love them all to distraction. The outside cats happen to come along after the indoor cats (all of which are adamant that no outsiders be brought in!), so they have resigned to living outside, claiming the patio and carport as their own.

Truth be told, they don’t have it bad at all – fresh air, plenty of sunshine, safe places to sleep, shelters to get in when it’s rainy or cold, and endless birds, squirrels, possums, and butterflies to keep them entertained. Our cats are pretty soft and lazy, so none of the aforementioned entertainment are in danger.

In addition to our cats (inside and outside), I feel, care for, love, AND name a colony of feral cats in the field next to our home. They have an old barn and even an unused shed to get into but my word would they love a house like the one shown here. I’d honestly like to get one for our carport AND one for my feral family of cats.

VERY Colorful and Comfortable Looking Cat Beds… I Want One, Myself!

Okay, you absolutely HAVE to click through to take a closer look at this incredibly attractive and comfortable looking Cat Bed (Amazon link). It’s so big and plush and inviting – I would LOVE one human-size.

Only problem is, I’m not sure I’d ever want to get out of it!

Building the Perfect (Rather, Purrfect!) Catio: A Patio for Indoor Cats to Enjoy!

I love this idea… a “catio” for indoor cats to get a taste of the great outdoors. To be perfectly honest, I’d love a “catio” for our outdoor cats just as much – one that is accessible for them (and us!) from the outdoors, but not from the indoors.

As it is, they have a carport, multiple wooden cat houses (with roofs and little doors) and a nearby barn they can get in when weather is foul, but a “catio” all their own would also be extraordinary.

I can, of course, see the beauty of a “catio” for inside cats too. My oldest daughter and her husband have an enclosed porch that has pretty much been turned into an exclusive catio. The ideas in this infographic are fantastic, I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do!
