Kitten Poem Tree

If you love black cats as much as I do, you’ll love the black kittens wall decal too. I’m not sure which more accurately depicts kittens, the one who finds himself in a bit of a “spot” (thanks to an overactive imagination and endless curiosity!) or the one on the ground watching the show…. as though she wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing. I’m pretty sure my beautiful grand-kitty Janie would be the one hanging from a branch. There’s nothing that girl won’t get into!
Last time I did a post about black cats and saying how much I loved them – it did my heart a lot of good to hear from so many people telling me about their love for black cats. My e-mail was full of stories about people’s “babies” and they were a lot of characters! I loved reading all of them. I totally agree with everyone else who loves black cats – they are gorgeous. The shiny black fur and the way it contrasts with the green eyes… absolutely beautiful.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of having 3 solid black cats and one “Tuxedo” black cat (Hannah – one of the sweetest cats to EVER live). My daughter Emily and her husband Dill have feisty little Janie to keep them on their toes. I’m hoping many more will sashay into our lives. They’re really, really something special.
Click through the wall decal above for a closer look and to read the adorable poem. Can you say MUST HAVE?!
Miss Janie (above), staring down at the purse she just nudged off the table. For the second time! What’s nuts is that the purse out-weighed her by about 10 pounds.
Hannah (above) showing off her belly! I swear, she’s a total mess. She’s one of the rare cats that invites you to pet her stomach. Apparently she’s kind of into it.
