With winter just around the corner, this great-looking self-warming cat “cave” bed (Amazon link) is just the thing my cats need. They’re such cold-natured little cuties, they would probably love it year round – they never seem to agree with the temperature we set the air conditioning on!

I love the cave shape, it’s probably one of the reasons a cat is able to pretty much heat the bed themselves. It seems to trap the body heat, making nap time all the more enjoyable.

I also love how darn cute it is – it looks like a giant yawning mouse, posed to even the score with all cats! We’ll keep that bit of descriptive information far, far away from our cats.

Interactive Catnip Rug: Colorful, Fun, and Downright Ingenious

My grandbabies have a few interactive toy rugs they LOVE…. and the adorable thing is, so do our cats! When the babies leave their rugs spread out on the floor and wander to another room, inevitably a few cats come to check it out and stay a while.

That’s why I searched out play rugs just for cats a few days ago on Amazon. I was THRILLED to find this Interactive Catnip Rug (Amazon link) and knew I had to add it to the 2021 Christmas Gift Ideas for Cats lineup!

This colorful beauty is just perfect in every way. The interactive play mat is “inspired by the magic of a nighttime garden” and it’s simply beautiful.

The soft and cushy catnip playmat is actually a stroke of genius and I’m surprised I haven’t seen more like this before. When we buy catnip, we always sprinkle a little bit under the blankets on our cats’ favorite beds and resting spots. They love it and it’s great fun to watch them enjoying it BUT it’s unbelievably messy! Having a ready-made, neat and tidy catnip rug is ideal and I can’t wait to see our cats enjoying it!

VERY Colorful and Comfortable Looking Cat Beds… I Want One, Myself!

Okay, you absolutely HAVE to click through to take a closer look at this incredibly attractive and comfortable looking Cat Bed (Amazon link). It’s so big and plush and inviting – I would LOVE one human-size.

Only problem is, I’m not sure I’d ever want to get out of it!

This beautiful plush cat bed is so fluffy, you know it has to be every bit as comfortable as it looks. I also love that it’s doughnut-shaped so it cradles the cat, making him/her feel safe, secure, and oh so comfy.

I also love that the bed is machine washable – just throw it right into the washing machine!

The bed can be placed on carpet or hardwood floors because there are anti-slip silicone grips in the bottom fabric to help keep the bed stable.

I love this GREAT looking Cat Hammock Bed (Amazon link) and I am certain any cat would be honored to sleep in it.

I love that it’s available in two colors (grey, shown, and pink) and, admittedly, love that it’s easy to assemble. I was not graced with a strong set of skills when it comes to putting anything together. That’s why I always smile whenever I see the magic words “easy to assemble.”

I also love that it’s easy to clean because one of our cats is known to carry food around with her – often to bed!

This particular cat bed can even be folded to carry with you when vacationing with your cat (not something I’d personally ever try with my group, but some people have calmer and more mannerly cats than we do).

I say it all the time, but our cats are like family to us. Little furry toddlers that make life sweeter, funner, and better every single day. Given that you’re here, on a cat blog, I’d say it’s a safe bet that you feel the same way!
