Baby Blanket for Cats… Yes, Baby Blanket for Cats!

Okay, I love this to distraction. This soft, fluffy blanket for cats (Amazon link) or other small pets is exactly what I need in my home… of course, I’ll need 5 of them, so each cat gets her or his own. Cats are funny little beings, after all, and very much LOVE having their own possessions.

I have a confession to make, I have bought baby blankets for my cats for years. I discovered with my beautiful Alexa (pictured below… I still miss her so much!) that cats enjoy sleeping on blankets that smell like them. When Alexa got older, I would put her baby blanket in the dryer after supper because she always came and got in my lap in my our favorite chair in the evening – she loved having her momma AND her warm blanket waiting for her.

This beautiful  Ompaa blanket for cats (Amazon link), however, looks much sturdier and would last a lot longer than traditional baby blankets. The plushness would also be more agreeable to a pampered fur baby.

ADORABLE Scratching Post: I’d Love This Even if I Didn’t Have Cats!

This Mushroom Cat Scratching Post is one of the most adorable ones I have ever seen… bar none!

The post size is 15×12 inches, making it big enough for cats and kittens to enjoy, yet compact enough to easily move around the house without taking up too much precious space.

Drinking Water Fountain… JUST What Our Cats NEED!

A Cat Water Fountain is something I’ve been meaning to buy, like, FOREVER. And yet… here I am still looking for just the right one for our cats. In my defense, I believe I have finally found the one. Fun Cat Hammock Bed with a Modern Vibe

I love this GREAT looking Cat Hammock Bed (Amazon link) and I am certain any cat would be honored to sleep in it.

I love that it’s available in two colors (grey, shown, and pink) and, admittedly, love that it’s easy to assemble. I was not graced with a strong set of skills when it comes to putting anything together. That’s why I always smile whenever I see the magic words “easy to assemble.”

I also love that it’s easy to clean because one of our cats is known to carry food around with her – often to bed!

This particular cat bed can even be folded to carry with you when vacationing with your cat (not something I’d personally ever try with my group, but some people have calmer and more mannerly cats than we do).

In addition to our much loved inside cats, we have a healthy number of much loved outside cats (good thing we live in a rural area!). There are several feral cat families in our area I feed and look after (I even name every single one of them and know when I haven’t seen one in a day or two).

Automatic Cat Water Fountain, Because You Can’t Always Be at the Sink!

We have three cats who absolutely LOVE drinking from the sink. As soon as anyone steps into the bathroom, they run over one another trying to get to the sink first!
