Black cats are some of the most gorgeous cats in the world. Their shiny black coat is beautiful and silky soft and the contrast between the beautiful black fur and their beautiful eyes is something that’ll stop you in your tracks every single time.
What’s more, my experience with black cats has been that they’re super sweet and loving. I’m not suggesting that a cat’s fur color influences their personality or disposition, necessarily, but I can say this with absolute certainty: I have never had a black cat that wasn’t uncommonly sweet and affectionate. We had a very small black cat once we named Rene Elise. I named her after a beautiful actress who was on daytime television at the time (on One Life to Live, actually!). Rene Elise was a hugger. Any time you picked her up, she’d put her little arms around your neck and stay that way the entire time you held her or carried her around. She was beautifully solid black with a little pink nose and white whiskers. She was an absolute doll and couldn’t have been sweeter if she were covered in sugar.
Hannah is a black baby with a little white on her and, like Rene Elise was, Hannah is as sweet as winter is long. Sweeter. Jelly Bean is solid black and is also a sweetheart. Very affectionate and loving – a big baby! Which is really something because he was born to a feral cat that I cared for and fed. She rarely let me touch her and her babies were the same way for a long time. But once Jelly Bean and Fatima discovered that I was on their side, they became TOTAL love bugs!
If you, or someone you know, ever finds yourself looking for a cat to adopt, why not bring home a couple of black beauties? They’re very regal and you won’t regret it for a single second. In fact, you’ll probably go back for more!

Too cute! Alexa’s in love with the cat in this art print. He’s cute, enterprising, and can supply her with endless ice cream. The last one sealed the deal.
Hopefully goldfish everywhere will forgive me, but I think this is one of the cutest art prints I’ve seen in a long time! The beautiful black cat looks so intent, so patient, so… well, hungry.
Again, apologies to goldfish, I mean no disrespect.

Can you imagine what this precious little cat must be thinking?! The expression on her face is so cute it makes my heart ache. Cat posters and art prints are the perfect things for cat lovers to decorate their homes with – we can never get enough of these beautiful, precious animals and are perfectly content to have them everywhere we look.
The cat art print above is one of the most adorable and mesmerizing ones I’ve seen in a while. I can’t take my eyes off of it!

Alexa hates for me to use the word “precious” on this blog. She has an image to maintain and says that the name, frankly, lessens her position in the animal kingdom. I’m afraid I have to break the rules this time, though – I mean come on!!
I can’t imagine anyone looking at the art print above and not smiling with every muscle in their face. But I do know one thing, if the person exists, I hope to never meet them – they’d be the sourest almost human alive!
Now to face Alexa’s wrath… She has an rss feed for this blog, of course, so I’m about 3 minutes away from a cold front.
I’m not sure if it’s intended to be or not, but this is a hilarious spoof of the infamous poster of two girls. The girls are on the sheet…intertwined….uh, yeah. So nevermind.
Anyway, whether it’s an intentional case of tongue in cheek or just a cute poster – it’s beyond adorable.
