Sometimes all you can say is “
Wow!” As someone who is fascinated with all
cats – large, small, domesticated (as if any cats are!), or wild (as if any cats aren’t!) – I am utterly fascinated with this stunning wall mural. I can’t take my eyes off of these gorgeous white Bengal tigers. What’s extra precious is how similar they are, when you take SIZE out of the equation, to our house cats. My cats strike similar “I rule all things” poses, as I’m sure your’s do as well.
There’s nothing more impressive, adorable, or beautiful than a cat!

Bookends Art PrintBuy at AllPosters.comIsn’t this a beautiful art print? I’m pretty wild about it, myself. The models remind me of my Alexa – she, too, is always near books. She’s lying across a new Nigela Lawson cookbook I got for Christmas right now. She looks a little disappointed….I guess she was expecting mouse on the menu.
The art print is by a water color by Steve Hanks – and it’s absolutely stunning. Click the link to take a closer look at this beauty, as well as to see more of his work.I just checked the web site again and found another watercolor by Mr. Hanks that also featured the animal we all know and love. Apparently he’s not just a brillaint artist, he’s a cat person too.I knew I liked him!

By the way, I hope you and your furry babies all had an amazing Christmas! Our tree withstood Alexa, so I’m counting it a success. Prissy (in her younger days) used to get up in the tree and sleep – ornaments would clink to the ground and we’d know our girl was either making her way up or down. She’s pretty content these days to sleep in a corner on the couch. She did, I’m happy to say, acknowledge the tree a few times – even working up enough energy to smell it at one point.I hear her majesty walking across the kitchen floor now (click click click) – apparently seeking an evening snack. You know what that means…I’m out!

I absolutely, positively love these two art prints. The first one’s called “Landy” and the second one is “Squirt.” They’re both by the amazing artist Ron Burns. Judging by the details in the cats’ faces, this man HAS to be a cat person. He’s captured that certain look that a cat gets when they’re looking for something to get into. I love that look – it means fun’s just ahead.
These prints are from Art in a Click.com and are available framed or unframed. Click on each picture to learn more about it – and to browse around at the other AMAZING prints on the site. One beautiful work of art hung in a room can make all the difference. Sometimes it’s the only missing element in a “make-over.”
