Awww, poor baby! She sounds beautiful, and with having lab and collie in her, I'll bet she is as sweet as any dog that ever lived.

I've always read that when an animal has joint pain, we should do everything possible to keep them from going up and down stairs. Sometimes that's almost impossible, though - especially if the "parent's" bedroom is upstairs and the dog/cat wants to go to bed with them!

A good veterinarian would be able to give you advice on what to do for Candy. It's possible that if you even called a vet's office and explained the situation to them, they might would tell you something you could get for them over the counter.

I'm glad you're looking for something to make her more comfortable. Pets are just like us when we're aching or have a headache - all we need, sometimes, is just a little medicine, then we're all set to go again!

Candy's in my thoughts - good luck!

Wow, what opposite views! I'd always urge people to thoroughly research ANYTHING before buying it, especially when it's something for a loved one (and if that doesn't describe cats, nothing does).

I have found both success stories and complaints for this spray. It boggles the mind. But if any pets have been helped at all, I find it difficult not to applaud the doctor and his product.

Thanks for making a very good point, Cresence - people honestly have to research things through.

Patricia, I'm so happy for your little loved one! It must have made your heart soar to see her giving chase!

Dr. Ken Frank is a known fraud who markets pain sprays for both people and pets. Typically, his products contain only trace quantities of homeopathic elements, making the overall spray little more than sugar water. Anyone who actually takes his claims seriously should do a Google search to view the large number of complaints about this scam.
