I started thinking that it’s probably a territorial thing. So, I fixed up a little special place by the back door, with a special little house (I confess, I even bought her her own baby blanket) – and a table where I serve her food, separate from the others. She’s acting better, although she won’t win any Miss Congeniality awards. She’s letting me pet her more…she even purred for, like, two minutes yesterday while I rubbed her head. Then she saw one of her “kids” and the purr roared into a growl.
Oh well, the two minutes were sweet while they lasted!
