Wicker Cat Bunk Bed

When I first saw this Cat Bunk Bed, I pictured Adam on the top bunk and Bo peering out from below. But after a few minutes I realized that Miss Alexa would, in reality, claim it for herself - top and bottom, alike. She’s got a lot of her cat mother (Carly) in her - enough to amuse and delight me while keeping everyone else on their toes.

Poor Svenn…an accident ~~waiting~~, looking to happen, now has a hurt paw. So, he lies around most of the time. I had made him his own special bed near the back door - a product of an old quilt and straw. He had been enjoying his special hospital bed so much that it was odd this afternoon to look out and see him on the sidewalk.

I walked outside to check on him and glanced at his bed. There laid beautiful, fluffy….okay, fat and fluffy….Alexa, looking at him, daring him to take exception with her presence. Being king Chicken Snap, he didn’t dream of it.

So, being the good cat mother that I am, I built a second “special” bed which Alexa promptly moved into, leaving the patient to reclaim his.

So, yeah, I think Alexa would very much enjoy this Cat Bunk Bed. She’d perch on top to look out for birds, mice, food, and Svenn - then head below when she’d worn herself out.
