Prissy

Prissy

This little diva is our inside cat, Prissy. She’s 15 years old and pretty much has the run of the house. There isn’t a one of us that wouldn’t walk through fire for her - and she knows it.

If you have an older cat, you know how sad it is to see them start to slow down. She doesn’t make as many jumps as she once did, although I suspect that she just enjoys being picked up and waited on. She also can’t eat the things she once enjoyed because they upset her stomach. That, plus she hasn’t as many teeth as she did in her younger days!

She’s a real sweetheart, loves company and wants to be in the center of everything - whether it’s a card game, tv viewing, blog posting (she’s in my lap) or supper.

She’s part of the family and wants to make sure that we know how lucky we are.

We do.

[…] After she’s worn herself out, she can crawl up high and sleep - as though she’s a lioness in the jungle. I think Prissy would wear that attitude quite nicely. Maybe it’d keep her off of our computers, too! […]
