Littermaid LM900 Mega Deluxe Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box
When it comes to litter boxes, cats and their humans each have their own ideas about what matters most. The problem is that sometimes those ideas are at odds with one another. For example, a cat (understandably) wants her bathroom facilities readily available in a agreeable, accessible location. The human’s response? Ew, hide it! After all, a litter box is unsightly and….well…smelly. Right?
Doesn’t have to be either! Littermaid Litter Boxes have come up with beautiful compromises that give the human - and, most importantly, the cat - exactly what they want. Littermaid put innovation and skill together and laid everything out on a middle ground - a place where cats and humans can come together in agreement!
Here’s what I love about Littermaid Litter Boxes:
- They’re roomy. A cat’s ancestors didn’t do their business in shoeboxes, you know. They had the great outdoors. Space to choose just the right place. They certainly didn’t have to contortion their body to fit uncomfortably in a small, cramped area. Littermaid Litter Boxes give your cat room to walk around (and, very often, scratch and play) until they find just the right spot. Cats LIKE Littermaid Litter Boxes - and we all know it’s imperative that a cat LIKE their bathroom. Otherwise…oh, I don’t even want to think about it.
- They’re shallow. Have you seen some of the high-sided, steep litter boxes on the market. There’s no way any self-respecting cat is going to put themselves out - they’d just find a more convenient location, and, again, we don’t want to think about that.
- They insist on doing the dirty work for me! A Littermaid Litter Box features a motor assembly that drags rakes (or tines) across the litter after the cat has done her business. Ingeniously, it doesn’t go to work right away - so it doesn’t jar her nerves. Get this, it brillantly waits 10 minutes after her exit to tidy up. So her nerves, and pride, stay in top working order!
- They’re gorgeous! No one really wants a plastic, triangular “I’m from Wal-Mart” litter box in their home. We humans can be as pretentious and snooty as our cats sometimes, and we know that appearances are extremely important.
You’ll want to check out their accessories, including their Premium Clumping Cat Litter, Air Cleaner, a great-looking Cabinet Stand and (My favorite!) a Privacy Tent (pictured below). What cat wouldn’t think she was queen of the jungle with this sweet set up?!
They also feature a page of reviews, so you can get inside the mind of other cat lovers.

* What is a Sponsored Review? This is an absolutely brilliant way for people with great products to get their word out. They pay writers to review their product - they never tell them what to say, how to say it. They don’t even specify that the review be favorable - just that a review is given. Sort of like movie reviews - sometimes the review’s glowing/sometimes not so much.
Fortunatley, I’ve found that if a person has enough confidence in his/her product to ask people for their opinions…publicly, no less!….there’s reason for the confidence. Littermaid Litter Boxes (And their privacy tent, don’t forget their privacy tent. Love it!) are the Hummers of Litter boxes. They’re beautifully brilliant and let the world and your cat know that she’s a member of your family, which means she deserves only the best.
