Gift Box For the Special Cat(s) in Your Life

Beyond Bookmarks.com has a great assortment of care boxes for a variety of very special people: College kids, Seniors, and Military men and women. They also have boxes for other special presences in our lives, even if they aren’t quite human!

Michael (as in my husband) brought this site and gift box to my attention. Sure, he knew I’d want to blog about it, but I suspect that more than anything, he knew what fun he and our cats would have with it! The contents include a Cats for Dummies book, a hair comb (purrrr), cat treats, toy mice, and a fish-shaped hot water bottle. The hot water bottle - as long as it’s thick and safe enough, which I’m sure it is - would be perfect for older cats who are experiencing cat arthritis. Prissy must be falling into that category, because sometimes we’ll notice she walks kind of stiff-legged. She loves it when I put her quilt into the dryer for her to lie on. She dozes right off purring the whole time!

The part of this gift box your cat will enjoy the most? The box itself. Well, that and the yummy treats! (Okay, disclaimer: I’m assuming they’re tasty, I haven’t actually tasted them. And won’t any time soon!)
