Flaxseed for Arthritis and Shine
If you have an elderly cat (like Prissy) or a vain one (like Alexa), you may consider buying flaxseed as a dietary supplement. Each, in their own way would benefit.
An older cat’s (or any animal’s) arthritis seems to be helped by flaxseed. It eases their aches and pains, making it easier to get around, as well as making life easier on them.
As for the animal who believes that looks are everything, flaxseed puts a shine on their coats….making a vain cat almost unbearable!
Just sprinkle a little on their food and they won’t even know it’s there.
(By the way, humans benefit mightily from the Omega 3s in flaxseed as well!)
