Adorable Hansel and Gretel Cottage

This adorable little house is the .
There are two entries - a front door and back door, I assume - and a plush fabric interior to keep your baby (babies) warm. I’d love a few of these for our outside cats; fortunately if you buy several, they give you a discount. It’s getting ridiculously cold outside and I know they’d appreciate the WARM comforts of home.
I also think an inside cat would think they’d passed and gone to kitty Heaven. Can’t you just picture one lying inside watching everyone go by their window? We had a cat, Carly, once who I know would have waited for passers-by and swatted at their legs - claws out, of course. She’d have wanted her meals served to her at the window, so she’d rarely ever have to leave. And I babied her so much, I know I would have granted her wishes. We’d have been a real sight: the meanest kitty in the world and her mommy who thought her nastiness was cute. I still miss her terribly, of course, but the mice, birds, rabbits, moles, dogs, and other cats haven’t even asked about her.
Her three kittens, who aren’t kittens anymore…but “children” didn’t seem quite right….love holing up just like she did. Bo will bury himself under so much straw that you can only see him when he moves. Adam likes to get up in the loft of our garage, so we put him some straw and a box up there. Alexa loves to be all hidden and warm, but she’s like I am - always afraid of missing out on something. So she’ll make sure she’s always within eye or ear shot of whatever’s going on.
She’d appreciate the window on this house - she could keep her eyes on all the boy cats and their comings and goings.
I wish I had a little house with a lock on the door for Svenn. I swear, that cat gets into more trouble - he always has something wrong with him. He loves to worry me to death. He’ll sometimes be gone for two days, then come back meowing and crying his head off - giving me all the details. 9 times out of 10 he comes back hurt - a little hair missing off a hip, a scratch on his nose….. This time, he came back from his bender with what appears to be a broken arm. If he were a human kid, he’d be the type where the ER crew all know him by name. And bones.
Instead of a Hansel and Gretel cottage, I need a Pumpkin Shell with a lock on it. Like the one Peter put his wife in. I always had a problem with that rhyme - it gives me reason to suspect that “Mother” wasn’t a very normal goose.
By the way, when you click through to look at the cottage ( ), take a look around at all the other great cat goodies. The website is actually devoted to dog stuff, so you’ll have plenty to browse around at if you have a dog in your family as well.
